Cibo Trattoria brings downtown feel to Glencoe

When a diner visits Glencoe’s Cibo Trattoria, Executive Chef Rick Raschillo wants him or her to feel like they’re eating at a downtown Chicago establishment — like Siena Tavern, for example, one his favorite spots in the city. Raschillo, who joked that he’s “test marketed” food ideas with his four children for 15 years, said restaurants like Siena Tavern provided some of the inspiration for Glencoe’s newest restaurant.
