The cast of “Legally Blonde: The Musical” performs a number during a Sunday, Aug. 3 matinee at The Wilmette Theatre.

Elle decides she is going to attend Harvard Law School to try and win back her boyfriend.

Elle and Warner (played by Eloise Lushina and Seth Steinberg) have dinner during the performance.

The Actors Training Center Musical Summer Intensive program presented “Legally Blonde: The Musical” Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 2-3, telling the story of the bubbly, outgoing sorority girl Elle Woods (Eloise Lushina) and her pursuit to win back the love of her snooty ex-boyfriend Warner Huntington III (Seth Steinberg) by earning a Harvard law degree.While her quest for love doesn’t go exactly as planned, Elle’s journey leads her on the path to self-discovery, finding that hard work and self-respect are the real keys to a fulfilling life.
